FAQ
Do my customers need a crypto wallet?
They need a HashPack wallet to hold the pass, but it takes under a minute to set up and works like any other app — no crypto knowledge required.
Is the pass an investment or something customers can trade for money?
No. It's a loyalty card that happens to live on a wallet instead of in a drawer. There's no expectation it goes up in value.
Do I have to deal with blockchain stuff myself?
No. You fill out a simple form — title, description, image, reward — and PercPass handles the rest.
Who pays the network fees?
PercPass's plan covers minting and claim costs on testnet. Mainnet fees are a few cents per claim and are covered in your plan.
What happens if a claim fails?
The customer sees a clear error and can retry. Nothing is charged and no partial pass is created.
Can I set a limit on how many people claim a pass?
Yes — set any claim limit when you create the pass. Once it's reached, the claim page shows it's sold out.
Can I charge for a pass instead of giving it away free?
Yes, an optional price field is available when creating a pass.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, no contracts. Your published passes keep working for customers who already claimed them.
What if I want a different QR/link slug?
Slugs are generated automatically, but keep it findable — print it somewhere customers will actually see it: receipts, counters, table tents.
Is this only for coffee shops?
No — it works for any repeat-visit business: gyms, salons, food trucks, boutiques, event promoters, and more.
